Touchdown Jesus is an installation dedicated to the infamous “Touchdown Jesus” sculpture that was struck by lightning and subsequently burnt to the ground in 2010. I asked several of my friends to create sculptural symbols of oppression that would be sacrificed by the “Ghost of Touchdown Jesus” and his monster truck “White Lightning”. Inspired by American cultural past times  like monster truck rallies and demolition derbies a built a scale model of Raymond James Football stadium to contain to ritual.
